Dr. Azfar Nafees Alam Hanfi

Dr. Azfar Nafees Alam Hanfi is a renowned ophthalmologist from Pakistan with a successful international professional career; registered with PMDC (Pakistan) and certified by ECFMG (USA).

Dr. Azfar Hanfi is currently associated with Hashmanis Hospital as Consultant Ophthalmologist. He is recognized for his attention given to every patient independently, while consulting with fellow ophthalmologist for complex cases.

Previously, Dr. Azfar Hanfi has served in many eye care institutions in Pakistan, USA and UK. His career spans over 12 years in progressive positions. Along with his eye care experience, he has also gained teaching experience at Isra School of Optometry and Baqai Medical University.

Dr. Azfar Hanfi has a decorated scholastic career, completing his fellowship program in Glaucoma from New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, USA in 2013. Earlier he also had completed his residency programs in Neurology from Oklahoma University Health Centre, USA (2004) and Ophthalmology from Al-Ibrahim Eye Hospital, Pakistan (2010). He also holds various professional qualification from around the world including FCPS (2011) from College of Physicians and Surgeon of Pakistan; PLAB (2006) from General Medical Council, UK; and Clinical Skills Assessment from ECFMG, USA. He also holds distinction in USMLE Step 1 with 22 percentile and USMLE Step 2 with 94 percentile.
