Pioneering Innovations in Ophthalmology (PIO), the biggest ophthalmology conference of Pakistan successfully held their fourth occurrence dated 3rd February, 2018 with a focus towards ‘Innovations of OCT in Ophthalmology.’ Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) has progressed for the past centuries and marks as one of the most significant ancillary tests in ophthalmic practice. The objective of the conference was to bring national and international leaders in ophthalmology to address various different applications and inventions in ocular imaging. Moreover, ophthalmic professionals gained an opportunity to define, discuss and represent the next evolution of optical coherence tomography (OCT) in quest to improve clinical practices and standards worldwide.
